Introducing Buffy!

Glad you're back!

This is my Tibetan terrier aged 13. She was 4 years old when she came to live with me. previously my 2 Lhasa Apsos had died and I was saying "NO MORE DOGS, THEY BREAK YOUR HEART" But a house is so lonely without a dog. So within 3 weeks Buffy had taken over and has been my constant companion since, going to church for Morning Prayer and into any restaurant and garden centre that will accept her!
We have spent a lot of time at Obediemce Classes called Good Citizen, so I get very cross when I find that my well behaved dog is refused entry and some children are creating havoc Am I just getting Old? Answers in a plain brown envelope!!!

In the beginning......

This is my first post and I am scared!!! My friend Lynn has been helping me to set this up, so when I go home I shan't know what to do. But never mind - perhaps we can have another afternoon while she hones her teaching skills.
I've been wanting to have a blog for ages and now here it is. So watch out for newsy bits, stories of my life as a busy retired, tales of many hospital appointments and instead of shouting at politicians on the TV I can write some scintillating blogs.
Must go now as I have to walk the dog, get the washing in and be ready for Emmerdale a quarter of an hour earlier than usual. It's all go
